History

The Con-Serv journey began in 1979, with Gary Harland’s development of environmentally friendly showers that could withstand the harsh Australian environment.

Success was evident from early on. By 1982, the company incorporated in Brisbane, as Con-Serv Corporation Australia Pty. Ltd. and began diversifying to include flow valves and health care products.

By 1986, Con-Serv was distributing its products throughout Australia via major retail and wholesale distributors as well as boutique showrooms.

In 1994, Con-Serv started advising foreign governments and private enterprises on their water conservation.
On Con-Serv’s 25th Anniversary, the company was honoured with the Australian Plumbing Industry 2004 GreenPlumbers Water Efficiency Product of the Year Award for its premium water efficient showers and flow valves.

Today, Con-Serv has a product range of over 2,500 items. Con-Serv continues to lead the industry with its design flexibility in meeting client’s local plumbing requirements. The company has expanded beyond its borders in Australia where it distributes to over 1,000 stores to include markets in North America, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
